Amberen is the brand for a blend of components established and promoted by Luanda Biomedical and offered for sale in capsule form off the shelf to menopausal females. Amberen is an all-natural menopause supplement, but it does not contain a key ingredient i.e Black Cohosh that has been shown to help relieve hot flashes and nights sweats. The medication relieves signs and symptoms usually related to the symptoms of menopause. While Amberen may work well for many women, it may not be as effective as if you were using a menopause supplement that contained Black Cohosh. It has done testing on animals and may have some minor Amberen side effects. There are some known negative affects you may consult your physician to see whether this product will work for you.

The main Amberen complaint has been that some customers experienced minor side effects such as headaches and itching when taking Amberen for long periods of time.

Amberen ingredients
Amberen is composed of the following active ingredients:
Ammonium Succinate
Succinate or succinic acid is involved in several chemical processes in the body. In supplements, it is used for symptoms related to menopause such as hot flashes and irritability.Special Precautions & Warnings for Pregnancy and breast-feeding women.

Calcium Disuccinate
Calcium is used for treatment and prevention of low calcium levels and resulting bone conditions including osteoporosis. Calcium is safe for most people when taken appropriately in recommended doses. Calcium can cause some minor side effects such as belching or gas.

Monosodium Glutamate (MSG)
The side effects of supplement containing monosodium glutamate, or MSG, are similar to those of an allergic reaction. Although less than 15 percent of Americans are sensitive to MSG, according to the University of Illinois Medical Center, in those who are sensitive symptoms range from headaches and nausea to heart palpitations and chest pain.

Magnesium Disuccinate
Magnesium Disuccinate Hydrate is a form of magnesium easily absorbed into the body to support a healthy cardiovascular system. Magnesium might cause stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and other side effects.

Zinc disuccinate Hydrate
Zinc Difumarate Hydrate is essential for a healthy energy metabolism.

Tocopherol acetate
Tocopherol Acetate is a form of Vitamin E that acts as an antioxidant to protect the various cells in the body.

Glycine
Glycine is an amino acid that helps regulate brain cell activity.

Since this is a proprietary blend, the label only says that each of these ingredients adds up to 400 mg (in 2 capsules). We are not told how much of each ingredient is in Amberen.

Here’s something everyone should know about supplements. Just because the ingredients may be included in the FDA’s GRAS (generally recognized as safe) list, doesn’t mean the product itself is FDA approved. Such is the case with Amberen. In other words as long as the ingredients can pass the FDA’s GRAS list, the product can hit the shelves without extensive clinical research studies and trials

How Does It Work?
Amberen encourages the hypothalamus, enhancing communication between it and the mind. This, in return, “normalizes” the performance of the ovaries in addition to adrenal glands and also promotes hormone and enzyme production, resulting in an alleviation of menopausal symptoms. Amberen is a helpful prescription for many females.

The Negatives of Amberen:
  • Amberen does not contain Black Cohosh.
  • Amberen has done studies on animals.
  • Amberen may not be formulated for all women.
  • This is not a fat burner or appetite suppressant.
  • The official website will likely not reveal the exact amount of the ingredients it contains.

Recommended Use:
Amberen is available in a pill form which is suggested to take as a 90 day course. The Amberen packet includes a self-assessment exam which will advise you on if you should take two capsules per day or four. Nearly all women will find noticeable outcome within around 3 to 4 weeks.

Bottom Line:
Amberen does use all-natural ingredients; it does not contain Black Cohosh, which has been clinically proven to help relieve menopause symptoms effectively and safely without any known side effects. Amberen has also been shown to cause some minor side effects, and it is not recommended to use Amberen if you have certain medical conditions. Women should check with their healthcare provider before using certain menopause supplements including Amberen. Compares the Amberen with other menopause supplements in the market. Choose the best and effective supplement for you.
